Summary

Los Angeles, 1959. Paul Ares receives a call from the police. His ex-wife, Diane, has been found murdered in a hotel room. He must now take care of his daughter, Callie, whom he has not seen for years. A veteran of the Korean War, Paul drowned himself in alcohol, gradually distancing himself from his family. Callie has never really forgiven him. But today, the little girl has no choice: she must return to live on her father''s farm. As she begins to reconnect with him, she perceives strange phenomena. One night, she glimpses the ghost of her mother, who tries to reveal to her the circumstances of her death...
