Summary

The Charlton Portfolio marks the publisher''s first foray into the fanzine market to showcase the artistic abilities of their creators and the roster line-up of their super heroes. Wraparound cover by Don Newton and Bob Layton. Of special note - printed here for the first time is the previously unpublished Blue Beetle #6 by Steve Ditko. In addition, includes articles touching on essentially every Charlton character, with pin-ups by Dave Cockrum, Jim Aparo, Dick Giordano, Joe Staton, Frank McLaughlin, and more. This prozine/fanzine melting pot served as the prototype issue for the Charlton Bullseye Magazine.
