Summary

Not all 1950''s comics were full of super heroes, occult mysteries or star spanning adventures. Some were gentle kids fantasy titles like Peter Panda. Starting with a 1st issue drawn by Rube Grossman and believed to be written by Sy Reit, Peter and his friends Dronald Dragon and Jimmy and Janie Jones embarked on a 31 issue series of escapades. Peter abd his friends rarely met actual bad guys; rather harmless schemers like Foxy Dan. Most stories are fractured fairy tales or funny animal capers with many involving dragons from Dronald''s neighborhood - which, reinforcing the series'' kid friendliness - wasn''t too far from Mother Goose''s house.
